New Position: Project Manager
Acorn Deck House Company, a world leader in custom-designed panelized prefabrication, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate home and addition projects. This is a full-time position that will be based out of our Acton, MA office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, review, record and update all incoming new construction and addition leads
• Develop a detailed GANTT chart to monitor and track progress and performance of all leads (qualified and unqualified)
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and contracts for all leads
• Follow up on all qualified leads in a timely manner, and assign qualified leads to Project Directors for continued follow up when needed
• Manage and nurture relationships with non-qualified leads by following up on a timed schedule
• Follow up on old leads and source new leads with marketing department
• Work with Management on special customer projects
• Meet with clients, staff members, builders, vendors and/or third parties virtually, in office or on site as needed to clarify specific requirements of each project
• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules to be shared with clients, staff members, builders, vendors and/or third parties
• Coordinate with clients, staff members, builders, vendors and/or third parties for flawless execution of projects throughout each step of the company process
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• 3+ years of construction project management or similar experience
• Strong understanding of common construction and design fundamentals
• Ability to learn a thorough understanding of Trudeau Homes’ brands and offerings
• Ability to knowledgably communicate topics to all leads (qualified and unqualified)
• Thorough understanding of the Microsoft 365 business suite, namely Microsoft Project, and ability to utilize all relevant programs the suite to their fullest
• Must be driven and able to take on company challenges
• Must be a team player
• Must present oneself in a professional manner in person and remotely
• Must be willing to travel as needed
