Beam Wraps
In older Deck Houses, it is very common for the beams to be stained a very dark brown color, which are nearly impossible to change without painting the beams and losing the natural woodgrain. Because of this, we developed beam wraps: an innovative way to lighten your beams and give your home a fresh look. They are essentially sections of unstained Douglas fir beams, stripped into pieces that cover the three exposed sides of your beams – creating a veneer around your original beams. Once the wrap is installed, it can be stained to your color preference.
